Mission


The Judicial Conduct Commission ("JCC") shall investigate and conduct confidential hearings regarding complaints against state, county, and municipal judges throughout the state.  Following its investigations and hearings, the JCC may recommend to the Utah Supreme Court the reprimand, censure, suspension, removal, or involuntary retirement of any state, county, or municipal judge.  The JCC cannot remove a judge from a particular case, direct a judge to take a particular action, or overturn a judge’s decision.
